Westchester Travel History

Westchester County consists of towns and counties bordered by the Hudson River and is the home of a number of farms, vineyards, farmers markets and extravagant estates from the mid 17th century.  The Hudson River region alone has more than 20 operating wineries.

Westchester County is a world-famous suburb that borders New York City’s Manhattan and Bronx boroughs.  It’s a place where changing suburban lifestyles have been pioneered generation to generation.

It is one of the most affluent counties in our country.  It’s a sanctuary for commuters, whichever way you choose to travel.  Not only is it a home to 14 colleges and universities but has a number of historic and cultural attractions.
